Product Leader · AI / ML

I deliver business outcomes through product and GTM strategy built on deep customer insight.

A hands-on, technical product leader with a decade-plus building AI/ML products, most recently at Meta .

About

Strategy, product, go-to-market, and AI fluency — in one operator.

I've spent a decade building AI/ML products — most recently at Meta, leading cross-company work to make its GenAI products safer for younger users, and before that at Chegg, building an ML marketplace that matched students to employers. Earlier I founded an ML analytics startup through Entrepreneur First and, as a product marketing manager at LinkedIn, led go-to-market for its SMB business alongside the sales team. I get most excited about delivering a business goal through a roadmap that is grounded in deep customer insight. On a recent break I built KidNotes with Claude Code.

◆ My flagship build

KidNotes

An AI product I designed, engineered, and shipped solo.
"Every to-do hiding in your inbox, pulled out so you never drop the ball."

01What it is

KidNotes reads a parent's email and calendar and pulls the buried to-dos — the permission slip, the science project, the birthday gift — into one calm, shared timeline. Every school email becomes an event with a tidy checklist, shared with co-parents and caregivers, so nothing slips by.

02How I built it

I built KidNotes solo — as CTO, founding AI engineer, and product lead — using AI both to build it and to power it. It's an AI product at its core: I designed the prompt and model layer, built an eval harness and evaluation dataset to measure and raise output quality, drove prompt and AI-layer optimizations, and stood up the app and its infrastructure myself.

Stack — React 19, Vite & Tailwind · Node/Express (TypeScript) on Vercel serverless · PostgreSQL (Neon) + Drizzle · Anthropic Claude Sonnet · Gmail & Calendar via Google Pub/Sub + Vercel Cron · Resend · Google OAuth

03Why I built it

When I started tracking what actually weighed on me, the same worry kept surfacing: I was always afraid I was missing something for my kids — a school deadline, an extracurricular sign-up, a form due tomorrow — with no clear picture of what was coming when, or what I needed to handle right now. KidNotes is the tool I built to give me peace of mind.

Go-to-market

Owning the GTM across a portfolio of products.

At LinkedIn I owned the commercial engine for an entire segment: packaging, pricing, segmentation, and the cross-functional sales motion.

Global business owner, SMB Product Marketing Manager · LinkedIn · 2013–2015

Global business owner for the SMB segment of LinkedIn's largest business line — driving cross-functional alignment across sales, product, customer success, and marketing to deliver one coherent go-to-market strategy and bookings growth.

Owned GTM for the SMB segmentLed go-to-market for a $XXXM segment of LinkedIn's largest business line, aligning sales, product, customer success, and marketing behind one plan.
Repackaged the offeringBuilt and rolled out a new packaging strategy — global pilots through full-scale launch — driving a XX% lift in 2014 bookings.
Segmented the marketUsed quantitative data analysis to map the SMB market for pockets of high growth and unmet need, steering both GTM strategy and product investment.
Built a new product conceptDefined feature requirements and pricing through customer research and validation interviews, and built the MVP mocks.

Beyond work

I live in the Bay Area with my wife and our two kids — who are, not coincidentally, the reason I ended up building KidNotes, a product about school emails.

I'm happiest traveling, out in nature, or with music on.
